Bakar-Jon in Byrkjelo
Bakar-Jon has been an institution in Byrkjelo for many years, and is a popular stopping point for both residents and visitors passing through Nordfjord. The name comes from the second generation of bakers at Bakar-Jon, named after Jon Myklebust, who was the owner for many years – until the family business was taken over by COOP, and is now in private ownership. We have taken good care of the traditions and recipes.

How do I order a cake?
Call us or send a message with your desired date, number of people, and any special requests. We recommend booking a few days in advance. Of course, you can also book directly at our store!
When is the new weekly menu posted?
We publish a new menu every Monday, and the image on the page is updated at the same time.
Can you put together a local food gift?
Gladly! Tell us a little about the occasion and budget, and we'll help you find the right flavours.
Do you have seating in the café?
Yes, the café has plenty of space for both dinner, coffee breaks and lunch. Welcome in.
